Mountain Sky Contracting

About Mountain Sky Contracting

Winter comes to New Hudson from the west, a gray wall rolling over the Allegany County ridgelines until the hilltop farms vanish inside it. Mountain Sky Contracting answers with snow removal, plowing out driveways and lots across a town of steep pitches and long rural frontage. There is real satisfaction in a hill lane opened to its gravel shoulders before sunrise, the banks set back square so the next squall has somewhere to go. In this country the sky is most of the view, and the morning after a storm it turns a hard, clean blue over the cleared ground. That is the picture this outfit works toward: the way out, open and waiting, before the coffee cools.
