About Torchia’s Home Improvement
At two in the morning a New Hartford street under snow is just a corridor of streetlights and mailbox tops, and somebody has to make it passable again. Torchia's Home Improvement plows and clears through those hours — driveways opened, walks cut through, the pile put where it will not be in the way come daylight. Oneida County winters are long and repetitive, which is exactly why the job is worth doing the same careful way every single round. The measure of it is simple: bare pavement, and a car that gets out. Snow work covers New Hartford, Washington Mills, Yorkville and the roads nearby.
