About On Point Tree Service

On Point Tree Service works the oak-heavy blocks of New City, where the ground rises toward High Tor and the Palisades ridge keeps the western sky. Summer thunderstorms come over that ridge in a hurry, and by morning there is a limb across a driveway that has to be gone before the school bus turns the corner — that is storm damage cleanup, done with saw and rope and a broom at the end. The rest of the year runs quieter: tree removal where a trunk has grown too close to a roofline, tree trimming to bring afternoon light back to a lawn near Lake DeForest, pruning that sets a young maple up for the next thirty winters. Clarkstown yards were laid out under big trees, and keeping them standing safely is mostly a matter of knowing which cut to make and which one to leave alone. When the truck pulls away, the only evidence is a tidier canopy and a driveway swept clean.
