Upstate Lawn Service

About Upstate Lawn Service

July in Nassau smells like cut hay and warm asphalt, and the mowers get going before the humidity does. Upstate Lawn Service keeps yards along the village streets and out on the back roads trimmed, edged and cleaned up while the fields beyond them go to second cutting. When the year turns and the first hard squall comes down off the Taconic hills, the same trucks change over to plows, salt and shovels. One set of properties, two jobs, which means knowing where the culvert sits before there is a foot of snow on top of it. A level lawn in August and an open drive in February are the same care, offered twice.
