About Grasshopper Lawn and Landscape

Fog sits in the Naples valley most summer mornings until the sun clears the ridge and lifts it off the vineyard rows on the hillsides. Grasshopper Lawn and Landscape mows once it burns away — the valley-floor yards along Naples Creek, the places climbing toward Bristol Springs — cutting at a height that carries a lawn through a hot week and trimming tight where the mower cannot reach. Spring is bed cleanup and mulch; fall is leaves, and the hills send down plenty of them. Grass at the south end of Canandaigua Lake grows deep and fast, and a yard kept on schedule looks the part. The finish is the point: even stripes, defined borders, nothing left lying in the beds.
