Stretch's Lawn & Landscape

About Stretch's Lawn & Landscape

Mount Vision sits up in the Otsego County hills, where the road climbs out of the Otego Creek valley and the fields open all at once. Stretch's Lawn & Landscape works that country — mowing lawns that run right out to the hedgerow, trimming around barns and fence posts and stone, edging the walks, cleaning up what hill weather sends down. A property up here can be a half-acre of dooryard or a long green apron with three ridges in the view, and both want cutting on time. The summer is short and hard-growing; the grass knows it and so does the mower. Nothing quite matches the smell of a hilltop lawn cut in late June with the whole valley lying below it.
