About JPelcastre Landscaping and Masonry

July settles heavy along the Bronx River side of the city, and lawns there want an early start. JPelcastre Landscaping and Masonry takes the mowing before the heat gets tall, then trims the borders and edges the walk while the shade still holds. Greenery in that river-bottom humidity grows fast — hedges, weeds and grass all racing at once — so the weekly return matters more than any single visit. Cleanups clear the beds in spring and again when the leaves come down. It is steady, physical, satisfying work in a corner of Mount Vernon that never quite stops growing.
