Sweet Clover Design

About Sweet Clover Design

On the old pasture edges around Mount Kisco, clover pushes up through the grass in June and the bees find it before anyone else does. Sweet Clover Design tends the kept side of that line — mowing, trimming, edging, mulching beds, and the raking-out that starts the year plus the one that finishes it. A lawn here is never far from woods or meadow, so the pleasure is all in the border: mown on one side, left alone on the other, the change made deliberately. Early summer mornings are the good ones, cool enough to work in and bright enough to read the cut. The area covered takes in Bedford Village, Pound Ridge, Katonah and Chappaqua.
