There is nothing to slow the wind on the open flats by the Montgomery airfield, so snow out there doesn't fall so much as travel. At Ease Excavation plows into that — long straight runs, drifts rebuilding themselves almost as fast as they're cut, headlights and blowing white. Driveways get taken down to pavement and the snow stacked where the next gust won't put it all back.
