The Hudson is still tidal at Milton, and from the landing you can watch the river change its mind twice a day. The town climbs west from there in terraces of orchard and lawn, up toward the ridge. B&B Lawn and Landscaping keeps those properties mowed, trimmed and edged from the first warm week to the last, working the slope so the cut lines follow the land instead of arguing with it. Morning is the good hour — mist off the water, grass still cool, the mower the loudest thing for a mile. What is left behind is an even surface and a clean margin, which is most of what anyone wants from a lawn.
