Hamm's Landscaping & Design

About Hamm's Landscaping & Design

There is a week in Milo, usually mid-October, when the sugar maples along the county roads all go at once and the light turns the color of a struck match. It is beautiful, and it is a great deal of leaf. Hamm's Landscaping & Design spends that stretch clearing turf and beds, then taking the lawn down to a tidy final cut before the ground gives up its warmth. Done thoroughly, an autumn cleanup pays out the following April, when the grass returns without a mat of old leaves to push through. The rest of the year is steady: mowing on rotation, trimming, edges kept honest.
