About Rivas Landscaping

When the Wallkill finally lets go of its ice, the valley below Wawayanda stays soft and brown a few weeks before turning green all at once. Rivas Landscaping is out for both of those moments — the first cut of spring and the trimming and cleanups behind it, and then, at the far end of the year, plowing and salting when the same driveways glaze over. River-valley wind stacks snow in odd corners, so a drive that looked open at ten can want another pass by noon. The rewards are small and specific: a lawn mowed clean to the edge, a path taken down to bare pavement. Both are worth doing well.
