About Alonso Landscaping and Construction

In spring the Wallkill runs high under the bridge at Montgomery, brown and quick, and the fields on either bank turn green almost overnight. Alonso Landscaping and Construction meets that with mowers — cutting, edging, trimming, clearing the winter's litter off lawns that have been waiting since November. When the year swings back around, the work swings with it: plowing driveways, opening walkways, pushing snow off the flat lots while it's still dark. Both halves of the calendar ask for the same thing, which is showing up and finishing. A lawn cut clean along the river road looks like summer getting started.
