Constable Tree Service

About Constable Tree Service

January wind crosses the open fields around Melrose with nothing to break it until it reaches the hedgerow maples, and you can hear it working on them from the road. Constable Tree Service is out in that Rensselaer County cold, taking down the dead ash along the fence lines before the wind makes the decision for everyone. Storm damage cleanup here runs farm-scale some days — a top out of a big maple, a limb across the tractor lane, all of it cut, hauled and stacked. Warmer months go to pruning and trimming: dead branches cut away, low limbs lifted off the barn and the hayfield edge. It is careful, unhurried work, and the reward is a farmstead that looks the same after a storm as it did the week before.
