About D'Iorio Landscaping

Medford sits on old pine-barrens sand, which means a green lawn here is something somebody decided to have and then kept deciding every week. D'Iorio Landscaping mows and edges through the Long Island summer, when heat settles over the pitch pines and the grass grows in fits between storms. The edges along the walks and the apron get cut back true, so the whole yard reads sharper than the sum of its parts. Spring cleanups clear out the needles and winter litter; the fall round takes the leaves before they can pack down over the sand. Patchogue, Holbrook, Farmingville and Yaphank are all part of the week.
