Santini's Landscape

About Santini's Landscape

October runs gold along the Old Croton Aqueduct trail above Ossining, and the leaves come down faster than anybody plans for. Santini's Landscape works that turn of the year: mowing while the grass is still growing, then leaf cleanups that take a yard back from the drifts and haul the piles off before the first hard rain packs them into the turf. There is genuine pleasure in a property that looks swept — beds bare, edges crisp, the whole lawn breathing again under a low sun. Once the cold sets its teeth in, the work shifts to snow removal: plowing, shoveling out the walks, salting the path so a doorstep stays a doorstep. The crew stays close to home, in Ossining and the neighboring towns.
