About Sunshine Valley Landscaping

After a winter storm the sun is slow to find Margaretville; it has to clear the ridgeline first, and in December that can mean mid-morning before light spills down onto the village roofs. Sunshine Valley Landscaping does not wait for it, plowing driveways and clearing snow in the blue half-light so the day can start on time. Delaware County snow often comes wet and heavy off the mountains, and the drives that climb out of the valley need clearing that leaves real footing, not a thin, slick scrape. It is unglamorous work done early and done thoroughly, and the reward is a route open from the garage door to the road. When the sun finally tops the ridge and pours into the valley, it lands on open pavement and tidy shoulders, and for a moment the place earns every letter of Sunshine Valley.
