About Verrazano Snow Removal Corp

Snow in Manhattan doesn't so much fall as get funneled — down the avenues, off the cornices, into the doorways and loading docks where it matters most. Verrazano Snow Removal Corp clears it: sidewalks and stoops shoveled, entrances opened, building frontages and lots pushed back so a whole block can get on with its morning. The work happens in those few hours when the streets are briefly quiet and the city plows are still out working the avenues. By eight o'clock nobody gives it a thought, which is exactly the right measure of the job. Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs make up the territory.
