Harter Landscaping of Larchmont

About Harter Landscaping of Larchmont

When a nor'easter comes up the coast, Larchmont Manor takes it full on — wind off the rocks, wet snow packing hard, the whole village silent by nine. Harter Landscaping of Larchmont works those nights and the mornings after, plowing driveways, clearing walkways and steps, opening parking areas before anybody needs them. Snow this close to the Sound is heavy and stubborn; it arrives right at the freezing line, sets up like mortar, and rewards showing up early rather than waiting it out. The whole trade comes down to one image: a driveway scraped down to pavement while the streetlights are still on. That is what the trucks are for, storm after storm, across Mamaroneck and the shoreline villages.
