Modesty Lawn Care

About Modesty Lawn Care

Noon in July out past Bloomingburg: hay standing in the fields, heat shimmering off the blacktop, and nothing much moving but the mowers. Modesty Lawn Care runs the residential lawns of Mamakating on that schedule — weekly cuts, string trimming along stone rows and posts, cleanups when the season turns everything over. The soil shifts from farm loam to shale in the space of a single yard, and grass answers accordingly, so height and timing get set property by property. The aim is plain and exact: a lawn that reads level from the road and holds up all the way through August. When the work is done the yard goes quiet again, just a little sharper than it was.
