Hometown Lawncare

About Hometown Lawncare

On a June evening in Wurtsboro the light comes in low along Sullivan Street and every front lawn on the block turns the color of a good idea. Hometown Lawncare works those yards — mowing, trimming around fence posts and mailbox stakes, edging the walk until the concrete shows its own line again. It is unhurried work in a town where people still wave from the porch, and it is meant to look that way: one height, square corners, clippings gone. Mamakating is a scatter of hamlets in the shadow of the ridge, and the lawns are the part of it people see every single day. Keeping them right is the whole point.
