About Farmer's Tree Services

Malone winters run long, and one of the best weeks of the year is that first March thaw when the Salmon River opens up and the fields north of town go to mud. Farmer's Tree Services uses that season the way farmers do — checking what the cold broke, marking the maples that will not leaf out, clearing the tops the wind left in the fence rows. Removal in Franklin County is often a very big tree in a very small farmyard, taken apart from the top down with the barn untouched. Trimming and pruning through summer clear the brittle wood before it becomes January's problem. When a storm comes down out of the Adirondack foothills, cleanup means a plowable lane and a dooryard you can cross.
