Lowrey's Lawn and Landscape

About Lowrey's Lawn and Landscape

East of Lyons the land flattens toward the Montezuma marshes, and the wind that crosses those cattails in November has nothing at all to slow it down. Lowrey's Lawn and Landscape reads that turn every year: the last cuts and leaf cleanups get done fast, and then the plow goes on. Between the drumlins the driveways run long and the snow drifts sideways, so clearing here is as much about where you push it as how much of it there is. In the warm months it is mowing, line trimming and edging, week after week, until a yard holds its shape on its own. The pleasure is in the steadiness — showing up on the day, and leaving the place better than the last visit.
