About Lorraine Land and Tree LLC

Lorraine sits up on the Tug Hill, a plateau that catches some of the deepest snow east of the Rockies, so summer here comes short and fierce and nobody wastes a day of it. From the first real growth in late May, grass along these back roads shoots up in the cool, wet air, and Lorraine Land and Tree LLC keeps it in hand with mowing, trimming and edging on a regular round. A land and tree business brings a wider view to a yard, noticing where the woods want to creep in and where the ground stays soft, and its mowing reflects it. By early September the goldenrod stands tall in the roadside ditches and the nights carry the first hint of frost, and the last cuts of the year leave lawns tidy beside the fading fields. Few sights say summer's end more plainly than a farmhouse yard trimmed and green with the whole plateau going tawny around it.
