About Adirondack Home Maintenance & Repair, LLC

The wind on Long Lake has a long runway in January: some fourteen miles of frozen, snow-covered water laid between the mountains, with nothing to slow it before it reaches Main Street. Home maintenance and repair is the everyday work of Adirondack Home Maintenance & Repair, LLC, and in winter that same care turns to the snow: drives plowed, walks and steps cleared, every door kept within reach. Central Adirondack winters run long and the snow piles deep, so a drive cleared once is rarely cleared for good. The afternoons go blue on the drifts by four, and the work keeps its own patient pace on into the dark. Crossing the bridge into the hamlet after a storm, you see it plainly: open drives, swept steps, and warm windows above the frozen lake.
