The Willowemoc runs right through Livingston Manor, and the town keeps time by it — high and loud in April, low and clear by August, black between snowbanks in January. Green Tree Lawn Service, LLC works that whole circle: mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups through the Catskill summer, then plowing, walkway clearing and ice treatment when the valley fills in. Mountain properties are steep and shaded, and the ground here freezes hard and thaws slow. Getting a drive open in the Manor on a February morning takes knowing the road as well as the machine. Either season, the aim holds — a place that looks and moves like somebody is minding it.
