Whisper Lawn

About Whisper Lawn

Butternut Creek slides quietly through Meadowbrook, and in the early hours the neighborhood is mostly birds and sprinklers. Whisper Lawn works that hour — mowing in even lines, trimming close to the beds and the fence posts, clearing the clippings off the walks so the finish is as tidy as the cut. Spring and fall bring the heavier jobs: matted leaves lifted off in April, the long haul of maple litter in October, the final low cut before the ground goes hard. Syracuse hands grass a long wet growing season and then takes it back all at once, and a lawn kept on schedule handles both ends of that better. There is something genuinely good about pulling away from a yard left in better shape than you found it.
