Jake’s Cutting Edge

About Jake’s Cutting Edge

The town of Lincoln spreads out flat and generous between the drumlins, ground so level the Erie Canal chose to lie down beside it. Jake's Cutting Edge works that open country — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and the cleanups that open and close the growing year. There is real satisfaction in a lawn cut on a June morning when the air still smells of wet field and the stripes run true toward Cowaselon Creek. Between Clockville and Wampsville the properties are wide, and wide lawns reward patience. Every visit ends with the clippings blown off the pavement and the line where grass meets driveway drawn clean.
