Route 18F runs the river road north out of Lewiston past the bluff and the convent grounds at Stella Niagara, and it is one of the finest drives in the county in any weather. Tedesco Enterprises LLC keeps lawns and driveways along that corridor and back through the village — mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, plowing and salting once the road turns white. Lake wind funnels along the river all winter, which means a drive can be cleared at midnight and closed by four, and the answer is simply going back out. Come April those same properties want raking, a fresh cut and a sharp border again, and the calendar begins over. It is the same road in every season; only the work changes.
