About North Country GreenScape

Midday in July, the sandy pine country around Le Ray goes bright and dry, scrub oak shimmering at the field edges while the mown lawns hold their color. North Country GreenScape works that heat — mowing, string trimming, edging, keeping beds cleared and borders honest. The ground up here is thin in places and rich in others, changing from one driveway to the next, and you learn a yard by cutting it. Fall brings the leaf work, whole lawns swept bare before the frost locks everything down. The line between kept and unkept is about one afternoon wide, and staying on the right side of it is the craft.
