About Level Green Landscaping Inc.

The hills around Lansing were combed into long low ridges by ice, and nothing here is truly flat — every yard leans somewhere. Level Green Landscaping Inc. makes peace with that in spring, when the thaw runs off the drumlins and the ground is soft enough to correct: filling low spots, topdressing, seeding, then mowing, trimming and edging once the turf knits back together. A lawn that drains right is a lawn still green in August. There is a quiet pleasure in walking a yard in May that puddled all last year and finding it dry underfoot. Level ground, green grass — the name is the whole job.
