About From the ground up

Lansingville sits up where the land leaves the lake behind and turns to hayfield, hedgerow and long views south. From the ground up begins a lawn the way this hill country makes everything: soil first, then patience. Topsoil and soil prep, seeding and overseeding, feeding, weed control, then mowing and edging once the green takes hold — every step in the order the ground asks for. There is real satisfaction in walking a bare April patch and standing on thick turf by July. The name says the method, and the method holds.
