Grassroots Groundskeeping

About Grassroots Groundskeeping

Depew's blocks were laid out tight and neat, small front lawns squared behind short walks, and come April every one of them greens at once. Grassroots Groundskeeping is built for exactly that scale — a mower that fits through the gate, a trimmer worked around the hydrant and the porch rail, edges recut until the concrete shows its own border again. Lawn care on a street like that is quick and frequent rather than heavy, and the effect compounds down the whole row. There is a particular pleasure in a small yard done precisely right; nothing hides at that size. Lancaster and its neighbors are full of them, and each one gets the same care as anything larger.
