About A Cut Above Tree Services

In January, Lake Placid holds its breath: Mirror Lake goes flat white, the spruce carry snow like folded arms, and the birches along the shore road creak in the cold. A Cut Above Tree Services works inside that hush, where the load a storm leaves in a crown is measured in inches and a heavy branch over a camp roof is not something you leave until spring. Removal in the High Peaks means tight rigging among trees you fully intend to keep. Trimming and pruning through the green months set a stand up to shed the next winter without losing a leader. And when a squall drops a limb across a driveway, storm damage cleanup gets the drive open before the plow comes back through.
