About Cool Cuttingz LLC

Lake Placid keeps two calendars: a long white one, when Mirror Lake locks up and Whiteface holds the weather, and a short green one that arrives in a rush and leaves the same way. Cool Cuttingz LLC works both — plowing driveways and lots through the deep Adirondack winter, clearing and salting walks so the steps stay safe under all that cold, then mowing, trimming and edging once the ground finally lets go in May. Village lots here are tucked among birch and balsam, so the mowing is close work and the plowing needs a plan for where the snow goes by March. The pleasure is in the contrast: a January driveway wide open before the school buses run, a July lawn cut to a straight edge. Cool Cuttingz covers Lake Placid and out to Saranac Lake, Wilmington, Keene, Jay and Ray Brook.
