About F&C Property Management Services LLC

In the hamlet of Lake Clear the deepest cold of the year settles into the hollows before dawn, when the lake lies white and still and its ice lets out a long low boom now and then as it thickens. F&C Property Management Services LLC is out in that hour clearing snow, opening driveways and paths so a North Country house is reachable once the sun is up. Snow here often falls fine and dry in the hard cold, and it drifts against anything that stands still: porches, woodpiles, the door of a parked truck. Looking after property is the heart of this business, and a cleared drive is the plainest proof that somebody is looking after this one. By sunrise, with the spruce and tamarack tops lit rose-pink above the drifts, the way is open from the road to the step.
