Spring in the LaFayette hollows starts wet: snowmelt pouring off the hills, Onondaga Creek running high and brown, every lawn soft underfoot for weeks. Then one warm stretch arrives and the valley goes green all at once, and the mowing season is on. Swimm Landscape rides that from the first cut in April to the last in November with mowing, trimming, edging, mulch in the beds, shrubs kept tidy, and the spring and fall cleanups that bookend it. A lawn brought back from a Central New York winter, raked out, cut low, edges redrawn, looks like the year has properly begun. That turn is the week the whole year hinges on.
