Jesmer Services

About Jesmer Services

East of Syracuse the country flattens out around Kirkville, and flat country drifts. Snow blows off the open fields and across the old canal line until a driveway that was clear at midnight is gone by four in the morning. Jesmer Services meets it head on, plowing drives and lots, cutting the drift back to the property line, shoveling walks and steps, and salting where the melt refreezes into glass. A driveway squared off and opened wide while the rest of the road is still white says a lot about how a morning is going to go. Central New York gets more of this than almost anywhere, and it is a season people get through together.
