About US Tree Service

West of Kingston the Catskills stand up out of the flat, and the weather that counts here comes down off them in a hurry. US Tree Service keeps an eye on that horizon all winter, because a wet snow off the high country can put a limb through a porch roof by suppertime. Storm damage cleanup starts where the danger is and works outward until the driveway is passable again. The calmer months are for pruning and trimming — thinning a crown so the next wind moves through it instead of against it — and for removals of trees that will not see another winter. It is plain work, planned in advance, and a yard that comes through March intact is the whole point.
