About Ramirez Landscaping & Stone LLC

Ulster County was built out of its own bluestone — quarried off these hillsides, laid into sidewalks and steps and the walls that still hold up half the yards in Hurley. Ramirez Landscaping & Stone LLC keeps that trade running alongside the green work: walls, walkways, patios and steps set level and tight, plus mowing, trimming and bed care right through the season. Stone is patient labor — you sort, you fit, you shim, and then it stands there for the next hundred years without asking for anything. Grass is the opposite, wanting attention every seventh day from April on, and there is real pleasure in doing both on one property. Around Kingston, Hurley, Marbletown and Stone Ridge, the two have always gone together.
