About Big Oscar Landscaping Inc.

Down on the Rondout the water goes dark early in winter, and the lights along the Strand come on while the afternoon is still going. Big Oscar Landscaping Inc. runs storms out of that dusk — plowing Kingston driveways and parking areas, shoveling entries, laying salt where the grade wants to send you sideways. In the green months it is mowing, trimming, bed edging and the two big cleanups that open and close the year. Big machines, small decisions: the pile pushed where it will not block a sightline, the walk cleared wide enough for two people to pass. Whatever the creek is doing, the route gets run.
