West of Kingsbury the ground begins to lift toward the Adirondack foothills, and in May that green comes down off the hills and across the fields in about a week. Adirondack First Choice picks the lawn care up from there: mowing on a schedule, trimming and edging, spring cleanup, and the autumn pass that gets a yard ready to be buried. Up here a lawn earns its keep in a short season, so every cut counts — even, unhurried, left at a height that will hold through an August dry spell. Kingsbury, Hudson Falls and the roads running out toward Fort Ann and Queensbury are the ground covered. A tidy yard under that big northern sky is a fine thing to pull into.
