About The Garden Giants LLC

Kerhonkson wakes up under the Shawangunk Ridge, the white cliffs catching sun long before the Rondout valley does. The Garden Giants LLC keeps the lawns down here in the bluestone country between the ridge and the Catskills, where the soil runs thin in places and grass has to be coaxed along. Mowing on a steady schedule, edging at the drives, hedge and shrub trimming, mulch laid down in the beds, and a thorough clearing at both ends of the season. The pleasure is in a lawn that looks deliberate: even color, sharp borders, nothing left to guess at. Old orchards and stone walls set a high bar for a yard around here.
