About Turf Grow

Johnson City lies along the Susquehanna in the flat of the valley — the old arch over the street, the carousel turning in the park all summer long. Turf Grow keeps the lawns of those neighborhoods cut and trimmed: the small squares out front, the deeper yards on streets that back toward the river. Valley soil and river humidity make for grass that grows hard through July, and staying ahead of it week to week is the whole discipline. Edges tight against the walk, clippings off the drive, the yard looking settled by the time the mower is loaded. Cleanups in spring and again in fall finish the year, beds opened and leaves lifted before the cold.
