About Hanft's Landscaping L.L.C.

From the ridge roads out by Ashville you can see how the country around Jamestown really lies, with fields tipping toward the lake, woodlots down in the folds, and in high summer the heat standing perfectly still over all of it at noon. Hanft's Landscaping L.L.C. mows and trims through those months, edging along drives and walks, clearing beds in spring and moving the leaf load in autumn. By January that same view has gone flat white, and the wind has nothing to slow it between the barns. Plow, shovel, salt, then come back when it fills in again; a drive opened at first light is a small thing that makes the rest of the day possible.
