About Essential Lawn Services

September along the old rail bed outside Jamestown smells like dry grass and cooling ground, and the mowing season enters its last easy stretch. Essential Lawn Services runs it out to the end, keeping the cuts regular, trimming tight to fences and foundations, refreshing the edge along walks and drives, then gathering the leaves once the hills let go of them. There is a turn somewhere in November when the equipment changes and the hours flip to the front of the morning: plowing, shoveling, salt on an icy step. Same properties, same doorways, a different kind of clearing. The work follows the year around and then starts over.
