About Chautauqua Removal LLC

In February the south basin of Chautauqua Lake goes still and pale, and the cold that sits over it slides downhill into Jamestown to stay a while. Chautauqua Removal LLC works that stretch of the winter without much ceremony: driveways plowed, parking areas opened and squared off, walkways shoveled down to the pavement, de-icer put where shade keeps ice honest until noon. Storms in this county arrive in waves rather than as single events, so the job is a return trip, and then another one after that. What gets left behind is unglamorous and exactly the point, which is bare blacktop, a widened apron and a doorstep nobody has to think about.
