About Thompson Tree & Crane Services

Up in Cayuga Heights the streets curve under a canopy a century in the making, and the light lands on the lawns in moving patches all summer long. Thompson Tree & Crane Services looks after that ground — mowing between mature plantings, trimming close to trunks and stone walls, edging the drives so the lines stay honest under all that shade. Grass grown in dappled light is finer and less forgiving, and it does best with a taller cut and a steady schedule. On midsummer evenings the mowers come off the properties around six, and the whole hill smells like cut grass and warm stone. Spring and fall cleanups round out the year.
