About Living Waters Landscape and Design, LTD

The hillsides around Ithaca leak — seeps in the shale, springs that surface in the middle of a back yard, wet corners that stay soft into June. Living Waters Landscape and Design, LTD. mows and maintains ground like that, reading where a mower can go and where the job wants a walk-behind and a light touch. Out toward Enfield the glens hold cold air, and the grass there stays lush past midsummer while the sunny lots have long gone tawny. The work is weekly and unglamorous — cut, trim, edge, clear — and it adds up to a property that looks composed rather than merely mowed. In November the leaves come off, the borders get cut back, and the yard is put to bed clean.
