About JD's Lawn Maintenance, LLC.

South of Ithaca the land rises toward Danby and the mornings hold their dew until nearly nine, so the day starts on the sunny lots and works its way into the shade. JD's Lawn Maintenance, LLC. keeps a route through those hills and back down into town — mowing weekly, trimming the fence lines, edging where lawn meets gravel, blowing the drive clean at the end of it. Doing the same properties on the same day builds a kind of memory: which corner stays wet, which bank needs the walk-behind, where the sprinkler head hides. By August the growth slows and the lines you cut will hold for days. Then the leaves come, and the season closes with a thorough sweep of every yard on the list.
